CLUB NIGHTS

The good ship Thekla plays host to some of the finest club nights in the South-West. Whatever you want from your night out, we've got a club to suit.

Our club nights run Mondays and Tuesdays during term time, plus Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays all year round. Our weekly nights are Zoology, Wobble, Pressure and Pop Confessional, with Fridays changing every week as part of our brand new Friday Project for 2011 with some of the biggest DJs and promoters around.

ZOOLOGY

Every Monday during term-time
Hub Radio's official club night in association with UWESU, where you'll be
howlin' your baboon's arse off to the The Zookeepers fine array of wild
tunes that swing like a monkey between the likes hippo-hop, indie-raccoon,
panda pop and your favourite elephant-scale party tunes plus Hub Radio DJs
on the top deck.

WOBBLE

Every Tuesday during term-time
The deepest midweek dubstep, drum and bass and generally wobbly beats with

PRESSURE

Every Thursday
Bristol's best indie and alternative club night. Guitar-orientated indie
rock and alternative anthemas with resident dancefloor-decemating DJ
MrSteveBob in the main room and rotating top deck hosts including The Lock
In and Cock. Regular live club shows from new bands on the radar at
Pressure Live too!

Every Saturday
Come and worship at the altar of pop music with our resident DJ and
preacher Father Valentine Spinoza. Playing all those guilty pop pleasures

Hammered's classic hip-hop and Da Lineup Krew's sleazy R&B beats.
